Rocky Mountain Bracke (additional brake for rear axle)
Ford Model T 1909-1925
Fits 1909-25 T's with the small brake drums
Don't forget to order the longer rear hub bolts T-2825-RM and nuts T-2825-A .
The 1909-1925 set includes a pair of new, large outer drums (11-3/4" diameter)
which, in conjunction with the original series drum, are intended to provide more braking power
They come with 2 brake rods and an equalizer that is mounted on the handbrake shaft
The equalizer is designed to allow you to activate the auxiliary brakes when you either press down on the brake pedal or pull back on the emergency brake handle.
Also included is a sliding fork head, complete with a spring,
which attaches to the brake pedal and eliminates fine adjustment between idling and braking.
Delivered assembled, including instructions.
IMPORTANT!
You need to weld a tab to the brake pedal to connect the brake rod to the equalizer
Our tip:
Also order the thick shim T-2505-SHB-Q2
